Accessibility
Here at AT Webdesign we are dedicated to ensuring that our websites can be accessed and enjoyed by everyone.
We strive to ensure our websites are accessible to people with special requirements.
We are working continually to improve the accessibility of our websites, but if you have any problems using this website, please feel free to contact us.
All pages on this site use XHTML 1.0 Strict mark-up, validated using the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) validation service.
All pages use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS2) for presentation, validated using the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) validation service.
Navigation
- The main site navigation is located at the top of each page and uses javascript to work.
- For people with javascript disabled a secondary navigation is made available in the left-column.
- There is a link to the home page available on each page by clicking "Home Page" or by clicking the At Webdesign logo.
- All the content is marked up as XHTML and styled with CSS.
- All links have title attributes, which describe the link in greater detail.
- Link text is never duplicated. Two links on the same page with the same text always point to the same page.
- Forms have their labels explicitly associated with their controls, to aid users of certain screen readers and speech browsers.
Images
All images on this site include descriptive ALT tags for users who can´t view images.
Layout
The site uses a Cascading Style Sheet for visual layout, validated using the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) validatior.
The stylesheet is written to display pages correctly in most commonly-used browsers. In browsers which do not support stylesheets, the content has been tested to make sure its readable.
This website uses relative font sizes. You can resize the text using your browser. This will not disrupt the layout of the page you are viewing.
Moving images and text
Nothing on this website uses blinking text or images, and nothing on this site will make your screen flicker. We have kept animation to a minimum and made sure that it is illustrative of existing content. Where we have used Flash animation (for the screenshots etc), a static non-Flash image is provided as an alternative.
